Employ an IAESTE student

The IAESTE programme is run on an exchange basis. For every placement raised in the UK for a foreign student we are able to place another UK student abroad.

University departments may increase the number of their students who participate in IAESTE by making reciprocal placement offers for foreign trainees. University-based placements currently account for approximately 40 percent of the work experience offered by IAESTE UK. Proven corollary benefits include the recruitment of high-calibre students from abroad for postgraduate studies and the development of new contacts in higher education institutions in other countries.

If you wish to pursue this option further please contact IAESTE UK for further information and a University Offer of Training Form. Alternatively you may wish to put us in touch with industrial contacts who could offer reciprocal placements on behalf of your students.

For more information and case studies, download a copy of the IAESTE Academic Booklet
