Welltime Ltd
Welltime Traveller Shaping The Future
Welltime Ltd is an IT start up business, with the initial flagship product that automates appointment management systems and can remind or automatically reallocate free or cancelled appointment slots to needy people.
Director Mubbasher Khanzada, an MBA graduate from Strathclyde first encountered the IAESTE programme as a student in his homeland Pakistan, completing a three month placement with an Oil and Gas company in Tajikistan. Upon rediscovering the scheme in the UK, he was keen to get involved as an employer and to date has had three trainees complete short term placements at Welltime Ltd.
“Without a doubt one of the biggest benefits of the IAESTE scheme is the high quality of the students. IAESTE students may not necessarily have a great amount of on the job experience but they have the necessary qualifications and training to get the job done.
'They bring a fresh perspective that is innovative. I would give experience for innovation any day! In addition, through an IAESTE student, you have the potential to create a great ambassador for your business, who can promote you on an international stage. Before you know it your sales are increasing and your numbers are up!”

As a testament to this, Mubbasher is still in contact with all three of the students that have worked with him and are now completing further education in different European institutions. He hopes that in the future they will continue to be ambassadors for Welltime, wherever their future careers take them. Furthermore having been an IAESTE trainee himself, Mubbasher is well aware of the opportunities the students are gaining.
“From a personal point of view, I know the importance for students these days to gain experience to put on their CV and international experience is particularly sought after. Coming from Pakistan it is only since arriving in the UK that I have discovered the subtle cultural differences that are so often erroneously portrayed in the world media.
‘Through IAESTE, we are creating students with an open mind, allowing them to experience things for themselves and develop a mutual understanding and harmony across nations.”
