Here are the main planned event for the summer.
Weekly IAESTE meeting
Come along to share some drinks and discuss ideas and problems you might have or just for the banter!
International Dinner
We plan to host an international night together with the Glasgow LC for all IAESTE trainees in Scotland where everyone brings a dish from their own country and perhaps some typical alcohol or alternative to accompany it!
Trip to the Highlands
Hopefully we should be organising a trip to the Highlands over a weekend to give you the chance to see the Highlands and convince you why Scotland is such a beautiful country. A good idea is to bring some weather proof clothes if you got some just in case that notorious weather kicks in.
Trip to Glasgow
A day trip (although it might be extended to a night out) to see the cultural centre of Scotland. For those of you who enjoy shopping Glasgow is definately the place to go.
Pub crawl
As drinking is an integrate part of Scottish culture we will be taking you on an introductory tour to some of Edinburghs more special pubs with a bit of history to go with it.
Whisky tasting session
If you wondered what Whisky is all about then you should come along to a whisky tasting session on the Royal mile where we try and learn to discern between Speyside and West coast whiskys.
